1.  New Tandem Parachute Equipment

Our instructors have thousands of jumps, but our gear doesn’t!  We’ve invested over $50,000 this year alone on new tandem equipment for your safety and comfort!  New equipment is proven to be more reliable, open softer, and land smoother.  Unlike some operators, who often jump gear until it wears out, we prefer to replace our equipment on a regular basis and sell the used stuff to them.

We only jump the Sigma Tandem Parachute system, the best system in the world.  We meticulously maintain our equipment at our onsite Parachute Rigging Loft, Action Air Parachutes.  Our riggers are certified by the Federal Aviation Authority and work extensively with both civilian and military parachute systems.

2.  Safe Airplanes

SkyDance uses only the safest, well maintained aircraft in the industry!  Our aircraft are clean, fast, and operated by the most reputable people in the business.  We primarily operate a Texas Turbine 900HP Cessna Caravan, the fastest jump plane in the industry.

While some of our local competitors still rent aircraft from operators with a history of incidents, we will never compromise your safety with subpar aircraft at SkyDance.

3. Professional, Licensed Instructors

At SkyDance, your independently operating tandem instructor is licensed by both the United States Parachute Association (USPA) and United Parachute Technologies LLC to provide you with a safe experience using the Sigma Tandem Parachute system.  All of our instructors go through regular recurrent training seminars.

4. Guaranteed Altitude

At SkyDance, we believe in doing honest business and delivering you the experience you’ve paid for.  We offer several jump altitudes for various budgets and we guarantee to bring you there.  All of our students are provided with an altimeter to see for themselves.  There are discount operators in the region who will rip you off on altitude, even when you’ve paid extra to go higher.

5. Tailored Learning Experience

We are a community of people passionate about skydiving and growing our sport.  As a tandem student, we want to deliver you an experience that is both fun and educational.  We encourage you to participate by deploying the parachute on your own and helping to fly the parachute itself after it opens.  Want to learn how to manuever your body in freefall?  We will teach you some tricks!  Many of our Tandem Instructors are also certified Accelerated Freefall Instructors, and can teach you skills to prepare you for solo skydiving on your tandem jump!

6.  We Train the Military

SkyDance SkyDiving is the only parachute facility in Northern California which meets the high standards required to be a certified parachute training center for the the US Department of Defense.  This speaks for itself!

We proudly provide aircraft, training, and parachute rigging services to several local military units as well as supporting local Veterans’ events and charities!
